Sydenham won the toss and batted first on St Albans #1 artificial. They got off to a sluggish start and it took a while to get our first wicket, however once that happened there was a regular fall of wickets until they almost hit 150. A brilliant diving catch by captain Nat Cox saw the Sydenham team leave the field a few overs short of completing their 50 overs. Young Yssa Cullen a new club member from Glentunnel debuted for the Prems and was impressive with her left arm fast bowling, she took a catch too. Georgia Wells had her best ever return with a 4 wicket bag for the premier women. Kate and Katie were also in the wickets.
The batting from Lucy Murray at close to 80% strike rate was great to watch especially alongside Nat Cox who just seems to hit hundreds at will now. A great 140 run partnership with alot of 3's being run on the boundary between pitches 1 and 2.
A great start to the season girls
