Our Location

The St Albans Cricket Club is based at Hagley Oval, in the heart of Christchurch City. The map below shows an aerial view of the pavilion and the main oval where domestic first-class, international and the occasional feature club games are played.

Home Grounds

The grounds where the majority of our home games are played are:

• The Nursery Ground (our main pitch, located to the south of the oval)
• Hagley Corner (formerly Hospital Corner, south-east)
• Polo grounds (artificial pitches, west)

Parking

Our pavilion has car parking outside, which has a one-way entry and exit. The best way to access it is the entrance outside the Riccarton Cricket Club pavilion, which is the first Riccarton Avenue driveway on the right-hand side when travelling from the Riccarton direction in the west. The middle Riccarton Avenue driveway (outside our pavilion) is exit-only.

The third Riccarton Avenue driveway (which is the first on the left when travelling from the CBD) provides access to additional match-day parking for games on the Nursery Ground and Hagley Corner, but is usually at a premium unless you arrive very early on Saturdays. Car parking down that driveway is completely inaccessible on days where a paid-entry domestic or international match is taking place on the Oval.
