St Albans Cricket Club members are invited to join us at the Alan Jamieson Lounge, upstairs in our Hagley Oval pavilion to watch the sold-out 2nd Black Caps v India Twenty20 International taking place there this Saturday evening.

The forecast right now is looking exceptional (27 degrees), so fingers crossed most Saints teams finally get to play their first club games during the daytime, then come on down to Hagley afterwards to watch the professionals flex their skills. Grab a spot on the balcony or take shelter in the lounge with the added comfort of having fridges to keep your drinks cool, toilets that you don't have to queue for and our own big screen for keeping tabs on the game plus perfectly time-delayed replays of all the key moments.

The pavilion will be open from 6.30pm. With the late made-for-Indian-TV-viewers start time of 8pm NZT, the game is expected to finish just after 11pm, so don't forget to bring something warm with you too as there's a fair chance it will get chilly later on (forecast 9 degrees low).

There is no bar facility operating, so bring your own snacks and beverages. We willl place bins for can and bottle collection so we keep tidy as we go. We will also supply a complimentary feed during the evening (probably around the innings break).

Club members may invite one guest to join them, but must sign into our guestbook upon arrival. There is an expectation placed on members to drink responsibly and represent the club with pride in this public space. With 9000 onlookers as well as dozens of police and security guards ever-present in the area, we will not hesitate to boot any unruly actors out of the building at the first sign of disruptiveness. Let's make it a great night for all!

If all goes well, we hope to have the pavilion available again for day 2 of the Hagley Test in November (also on a Saturday).
