Fozzie Bears v Sydenham Cardinals.
Fozzies Bears 2 from 2. Sydenham Cardinals 0 from 2.
Game three of the season and second game on a grass pitch (Centennial 2) we faced the Cardinals.
Historically a lot of interesting dialogue. The recent past has seen The Bears have the wood on the Cardinals.
Kado won his first toss (1 from 3), and on a less than even pitch we chose to bat. The wicket proved interesting playing pretty straight and even down the middle and two paced off line.
After a less than exciting start Kado 84 and Switchy 43 carried the Fozzies to a respectable 149/6.
Opening the attack Sy P and Lambchop collected a wicket a piece and the fight went out of the Cardinals and it was a procession then on. Cardinals finishing 113/3. Pick of the Fozzie bowlers Lambchop 1-10, Sy P 1-17, D Sutherland (Postman) 1-29
Three from three the Bears!!!
