Fozzie Bears v Riccarton Hoggs
Fozzie Bears 3 from 3. Riccarton Hogs 3 from 3. Top of the table clash.
Game four of the season and our third game on a grass wicket Barrington Park 2. A green top.
Kado won the toss (2 from 4) and chose to go with our strength and bat first. The Bears posted a sound 148/5. Kado 33 (17) recorded his first dismissal of the season, caught attempting to hit his fourth 6 of the over. He has a tidy average of 203. Rick 46 (38) and Switchy 23 (21) are yet to post averages. Extras 23.
It was a quick turn around between innings by the Fozzies with the expected Southerly front rolling in. The pitch that had offered up almost 150 now looked unplayable. The Hogs fell well short, mustering only 67/7 off their 20. It was an outstanding effort in the field, four catches and a run out. Everyone contributed with the ball; Big Dog 1-14, Lambchop 1-13, Switchy 1-12, Arthur 1-10, Postman 1-9 and Fabs 1-4. Done and dusted by 4:30.
A great win, The Fozzies, 4 and 0.
