Day 1: A good fifty for Manpreet Sharma helped limp the Sabres up to a score of 161 with contributions of 25 and 24 for Laurie Atkinson and Jo Lowe respectively.
A very solid bowling performance from Joe Lowe of 5-72 off his 14 overs with aid from Max Chaplin (10-0-2-20) and Sam Kearns (9-2-2-24) bowled Mpap out for 178, giving Mpap a lead of 17 after 1st innings.
The Saints then batted again towards the end of the day, however, found themselves 20-3 at the end of day's play.
Day 2: Some batting was required for Saints to set Mpap a target they could bowl at. Unfortunately they found themselves 30 0r 40 runs short and were bowled out for 130 giving them a 113 run lead. There were batting contributions for Sam Kearns (30) and Tom McClean (20).
Needing to bowl incredibly well, things started very well for the Sabres when Ian Souness took a spectacular one handed caught and bowled on the 3rd ball of the innings. Souness (12-2-3-49) and Kearns (6-0-2-26) gave the Sabres some hope getting Mpapa 85-6, however, it wasn't to be with the home side coming home 3 wickets to spare thanks to a wicket on debut for Curtis Fletcher (4-1-1-10).
