Sydenham Goats won the toss and they decided to bat first. The pitch was much better then pervious game. The bounce on the pitch was well and even to put good score on scoreboard. Sydenham Goats got good start and their opening batters were looking great. After they lose their first wicket they struggled to build another partnership. They kept losing wickets one after one and they only could able to manage 91/10 in 33 overs on scoreboard. Harpreet Singh got us first breakthrough and he balled really well. He got 2 wickets in 4 overs. On the other hand Harpinder Singh helped by not letting them score and made them hustle for scoring. Which results into made them playing unnecessary shots. Gurpej, Gagan and myself also got 2 wickets each.
In the chase again we had really bad start and we lose 7 wickets on 15 runs. Again myself remained 35 not out to achieve the target with Gagan Bhaskar $2 not out. With our responsible partnership we took our team to first win of the season. Despite the bad start we won the match and outcome is Gagan is our MOM. Who performed really well with 2 wickets and 42 runs.
Overall, we ball really well and it was good team efforts by all of us on field. We still need to work on our batting top order. In the end I will say still its just 2 games. And we will come more stronger in coming games.
