Diamonds Vs Honeybees at St Albans school
Sunny morning .
Well St Albans started with only 6 players as one out with injury and and isolatating pending covid test results.
Diamonds won the toss and elected to bowl first, the honeybees were kind enough to loan us 2 fielders.
the girls bowled well , but the honeybees were taking full advantage of any mistakes from the diamonds getting extra runs.
The honeybees were 140/4
St albans went into bat with the girls taking as many extras as they could. The girls hit a flurry of 4's hoping this would stand them in good steed of catching the honeybees total. The diamonds tryed really hard and gave it there all but the last two overs the honeybees bowler really restricted the diamonds unfortnately losing by the slimmest of margins.
