St Albans BBBB's 207/5 (Gibb 68, Alabaster 59, Prebble 4/38) beat Ohoka 101 (Scott 34, Flav 5/19)
Prebs won the toss and asked St's to bat on what looked like a dampish low pitch. Hampo out for 7 (13/1) which saw Jimmy join Gibby for a 109 run partnership in 25 overs before Gibby fell for a well constructed 68. RJ and Jimmy put on a quick 55 before both fell at 177 (Jimmy 59, RJ 36). Prebs bowled well for 4/38 and should have had 5 but for 2 fielders looking at each other as the ball dropped between them. 207/5 was our lot.
Into the field and it was Flav's day, 8/2/19/5 taking the top of the batting and Ohoka never recovered, all out 101 off 35 overs. Eagle 2/14 and Norm 2/12, only 3 scores in double figures with Scott the best at 34.
Beers on the sideline before heading to the Mandeville Sports Centre to finish off the day. Cheers to the Okoha lads for a lovely afternoon tea and enjoyable day's crickets.
Cheers Potty
