The forecast was not great but we started out and finished the game without any showers even though many games were cancelled. Batting first we got off to a great start with Emily Glennie getting us to 74/2 in the 14th over. Unfortunately after that we slowly crept up towards a 100 while we lost wiickets regularly trying to build on the good start. 95 was certainly defendable with our bowling line up. Kaylee took a 5 wicket bag - helped by some great keeping by Emily (2 stumpings and a catch behind). The team is certainly enjoying having a good dedicated and skilled keeper. Jodie chipped in with 2 wickets ending a memorable day for her too. Both Katie Morris and Kate Sims whilst bowling got a run out each by deflecting the ball off the bat onto the bowlers stumps.
Anyway - top of the table now !
