A Thursday night game saw us play Heathcote once the found the right ground. The delayed start resulted in a shortening the innings to 18 overs to try to avoid the danger posed by the fading light in second innings. We batted first and posted a score of 140/7 with the top four doing a great job setting up the innings. The fading light did not become a factor as we dispatched heathcote for 67 in 14.4 overs with Peter Fernando getting his first 3 wicket bag of the season.
