CavFM 143 for 4 beat Heath 83 all out after 15
Player of the day M.Cameron 52 (35) and 2 for 7 off 2
Cameron opening with a four setting the benchmark for others to follow with a superb 52 from 35 balls. Flynn patient at the other end with the two getting the Fozzies off to fantastic start 68 runs.
DRINKS BREAK!!! Well sprinklers in any case. Could we have that with ice, lemon and gin next time!
Atkinson quick fire 42 off 23, and uncharacteristically out! Stewart finding form with some beautifully timed strokes 21 before being caught deep. Fozzies 143 for 4.
N Yardley quick to put the OPPO under early pressure c&b first over. A broken finger picked up the week before must of been the only reason for the otherwise quickest man on grass, Flynn to miss two catches, Stewart who was unlucky not to end his 4 overs with as many wickets, 2 for 26. Sutherland with some super accurate bowling 2 for 15 and Whiting limping in from a few paces 2 for 17.
Catches win matches. While he missed two Flynn was like a magnet and had no trouble taking the other two. Apart from Yardleys c&b, both Kirkpatrick and Stewart taking catches, Kirkpatricks was one of those you dread, high taking forever to arrive where the first emotion is usually relief. Stewart's wrapping up another good win.
Boys back to the oval for a well deserved cold beer!
