Over the last couple of weeks the club was saddened to hear of the deaths of two former members who had a long association with the club.
Firstly, John Howell (67) died after a short illness in Tauranga Hospital. John played 78 games for the club, mostly in President's grade, between 1985 and 1992.
Secondly, Sandra Day passed away, also after a long fight against leukaemia. Sandra played 70 matches, mainly for the first and second grade sides, between 1989 and 2001.
Our thoughts and condolences go to the Howell and Day families.
