St's ventured to Sydenham Park to take on Hospital. Hampo won the toss and decided to bat on what looked like a good pitch but a long and slow outfield. That decision wasn't looking too sharp with us sitting at 46/5, Jinto bowling a very rapid first spell and taking 2 cheap wickets. A good 48 run partnership between Mantis and Wellsy tipped the balance back in our favour and the last 3 wickets put on reasonable partnerships to see us thru to 164/9. St's and Lancaster Park travelled to Hagley, all battling to find a park within a reasonable walking distance. LPW won the toss and invited us to bat first. Gibby & Hampo put on 46 for the first wicket, before Iggs joined the skipper and off they went, Hampo brought up a well played 100 and retired tired right away, Iggs hitting 78. RJs first outdoors appearance for a while involved a quick 15 before Mantis (24*) and Wellsy (30*) rounded out the innings. 283/3.
